Training

Marketing, Admissions and Development is a whole school affair, but sometimes it is difficult for those working in-house to communicate the importance of this crucial business side of the school to Governors, academic and support staff.

Rachel will work closely with you to understand your unique needs, and then deliver tailored training sessions, from workshops with Executive Boards SLT and Governors to whole school INSET sessions. Training can be a one-off session or a series of supported workshops.

“Thank you for your time and expertise yesterday. It has been a fascinating process far and feedback from senior staff has been overwhelmingly positive, which is a great step in the right direction in terms of getting the whole staff on board!”

- Mark Peters, Deputy Head – External Relations, Hornsby House School

“Thank you so much for this morning – I thought it was excellent and given the comments we received throughout, I was not alone!”

Lou Bennett, Joint CEO IDPE

“Thank you for running this course this morning, I really appreciate your time and effort putting this together. The course was very informative, and it was fantastic timing to do this with my new staff.”

— Headmaster of Ashfold School

“Rachel's session on 'Customer Service – Why Excellence Matters' was engaging and thought-provoking; encouraging discussion and self-reflection.”

-Jennifer Lovell, HR Advisor

“My thanks to you, emphatically! Your presentation was spot on- no mean feat given the breadth of staff and the need to do it four times over. We’ve had really good feedback from staff, and given how resistant to these themes some teachers can be at some schools, that says it all".”

- CEO Mill Hill School

Mentoring

New to role, or new to career colleagues, benefit hugely from having an experienced mentor who will guide, support and nurture, helping them to achieve their own professional goals and the school’s wider aims for the role.

The benefits are far reaching and include increased motivation, self-confidence, self-awareness, and an opportunity to approach work tasks in a different way.

There are also clear benefits for the school, including increased levels of motivation from the mentee, together with a clearer sense of direction and objectives, improved communication at all levels, sharing of their knowledge and experiences with their staff, and tangible and measurable gains for the school’s strategy.

"Rachel has been a fantastic mentor to me…her varied background, willingness to share her own experiences and wisdom are all qualities that make for successful mentoring. "

- Wendy Blanton, Marketing & Communications Manager, Abbot's Hill School.

“Having worked extensively in both the fields of Education and Marketing, Rachel has so much experience and knowledge to draw on and share. From our first meeting, Rachel went out of her way to learn everything she could about BBIS. She took a genuine interest in our journey and has celebrated our achievements along the way. She has given me the confidence to work outside my comfort zone and believe in my abilities. Her open, honest approach, professionalism and ability to put a person at complete ease helped make Rachel the ideal mentor. It also helps that she is one of the nicest humans you could ever wish to meet.”

- Marketing Manager, Budapest British International School
